Shabbat Shalom everyone!
Today for Shabbat, our older campers prepared for an egg drop. Members from our red fish group and our yellow fish group wrapped up their eggs with a variety of materials to see which egg would stay protected during a 2nd story drop. Both groups had some success, as neither egg cracked. Such a fun science experiment! We finished the day with a whole camp picnic and another wonderful Shabbat.
Enjoy the weekend! :)
Gracie & Danielle, two of our CITs show off the box that their camp group (the red fish) made.
Here comes the drops for both groups!
Our patient audience... very excited to see what will happen!
Counselor Devin checks to see if the eggs are safe from each drop. All eggs are unharmed!
Ben & Sam show us one of the eggs still in one piece!
Time for a nice Shabbat picnic....
Followed by our weekly Shabbat celebration. Our very own 2 year old and future song leader Noah helped to lead our special Shabbat as well. Thanks Noah!
